MTS-Ukraine, a mobile communications provider, is planning to invest 400 million dollars in its development in 2009, the company's сorporate management and control director Andriy Berezny has said.

He said that in 2008 the company’s investments in development reached 600 million dollars. MTS-Ukraine has invested a total of 2.7 billion dollars in Ukraine. He also said that the communications sector first felt the effect of the crisis when sales dropped by 17% in February 2009.
