World Bank to give Ukrainian road service 400 million dollars more

The World Bank has decided to give Ukraine a 30-year 400-million-dollar loan with a grace period of five years within the framework of the Roads and Safety Improvement project.

The project will be carried out by Ukravtodor, the Ukrainian State Motorway Service. Out of this amount, 300 million dollars will be used to improve the Kyiv-Kharkiv motorway and 100 million dollars to improve road condition at dangerous highway sectors, Ukravtodor head Vadym Gurzhos said.

The World Bank said that this loan was called to help Ukraine fight the social and economical crisis.
